About Us
The Oregon Small Wind Energy Association (OSWEA) is a non-profit organization poised to become the leading advocate for the small and distributed wind energy industry in Oregon. Consumer education, professional development, and smart policy will ensure the growth and sustainability of the small wind energy industry in Oregon.
Through industry, consumer, and governmental collaboration nationwide, OSWEA will promote, foster, and advance the economic application, public understanding, and implementation of distributed wind energy technology.
OSWEA has quickly become the leading body of knowledge, experience, and understanding on all matters relevant to small wind in Oregon. OSWEA is already working on key issues such as zoning, permitting, utility interconnection, industry standards, installer certification, and state and federal incentive programs critical to the success of distributed wind energy technology in Oregon.
We thank you all for your support, and look forward to serving you and our communities as leaders in the transformation to a sustainable future.
